SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Marge Olszewki of McHenry, who passed
4away on April 24, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Marge Olszewki was born on February 7, 1922, in
6Chicago to Andrew and Margaret Dougal; she married Raymond
7Olszewki in Chicago on July 1, 1944; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Marge Olszewki, affectionately known as "Mrs.
9Ray" or "Mar", brought the joy of dance to the city of McHenry
10for more than 54 years with the Mar Ray Dance Studio; she and
11her husband also gave the city of Palatine many years of
12laughter and excitement with Mar Ray Costumes; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Marge Olszewki enjoyed sewing, reading, dancing,
14traveling, and spending the winters in Florida; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Marge Olszewki was preceded in death by her
16parents; her husband; her sons, Ramon and Robert Olszewki; and
17many loved ones; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Marge Olszewki is survived by her children, Carol
19(Bill) Dick and Ron (Sue) Christian; her daughter-in-law, Jill
20(Dave) Stone; her grandchildren, Ryan (Marnie) Olszewki, Shawn

7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Marge Olszewki, and extend our sincere condolences to her
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Marge Olszewki as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
