Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Makes a technical change in a
Section regarding pedestrians.

AN ACT concerning transportation.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by changing
Section 11-1001 as follows:

devices and traffic
(a) A pedestrian shall obey the instructions of any
control device specifically applicable to
him, unless otherwise directed by
a police officer.
(b) Pedestrians shall be subject to traffic and pedestrian
signals provided in Sections 11-306 and 11-307 of this
Chapter, but at all
other places pedestrians shall be accorded
the privileges and shall be
subject to the restrictions stated
in this Article.
