HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of
4Curtistine Faulkner-Young of Peoria, who passed away on
5November 12, 2014; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Curtistine Faulkner-Young was born on April 19,
71945 in Scott, Mississippi to Sam and Cornelius Faulkner; she
8married Joseph Young; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Curtistine Faulkner-Young was a cook for many
10years; she also worked at Bradley University and the Community
11Action Agency in Peoria; after retirement, she was a
12grandmother at Webster School for over 5 year; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Curtistine Faulkner-Young was preceded in death
14by her parents; her husband of 22 years, Joseph; one son, Trent
15Young, Sr.; one grandson, Branden Faulkner; 4 brothers; and 5
16sisters; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Curtistine Faulkner-Young is survived by her
18children, Shando (Don) Faulkner-Harris, Crystal (Michael)
19Cook, Daieon "DeeDee" Young, John Young, Laura Young, and
20Dewayne Young; her 3 siblings, Roosevelt Faulkner, Wardell
21(Willean) Faulkner, and Mary (Micheal) Anderson-Farris; her 7

1grandchildren, Timekia Faulkner, Michael Cook, Jr., Breiana
2Wells, Breion Wells, Trent Young, Jr., Alisha Lovingood, and
3Arielle Young; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces,
4nephews, cousins, and dear friends who adored her and will miss
5her dearly; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
7NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
8we mourn the passing of Curtistine Faulkner-Young, and extend
9our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who
10knew and loved her; and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Curtistine Faulkner-Young as an
13expression of our deepest sympathy.
