HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Yvetta E.
4Mack, who passed away on October 25, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Yvetta Mack was born on May 20, 1941 in Chicago;
6her parents were Julius and Mildred Brown; she married Willie
7Mack in May of 1971 in Chicago; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Yvetta Mack gave her life to Christ at St. James
9Catholic Church in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood at an
10early age; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Yvetta Mack was educated in the Chicago Public
12School system and attended DuSable High School; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Yvetta Mack was a homemaker and a devoted mother
14to her children; in her later years, she enjoyed attending and
15participating in social events; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Yvetta Mack was preceded in death by her husband,
17Willie; her daughter, Yvette "Red"; her brothers, Julius,
18Henry, and Edward; and her brother-in-law, Richard; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Yvetta Mack is survived by her daughters,

1Catherine and Mildred (Michael); her sons, Joseph, Kevin
2(Charlotte), and Demetrius (Sharonda); her sisters, Elsie
3Holmes and Carol Brown; her 10 grandchildren; her 6
4great-grandchildren; her goddaughters, Je'Tuan (M.C.) and
5Toni; and her many other family members and friends; therefore,
6be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
8NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
9we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of
10Yvetta E. Mack; and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Yvetta Mack as an expression of our
13sympathy.
