HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of William
4T. "Bill" Ryan of Rockford, who passed away on October 11,
52013; and
 
6    WHEREAS, William Ryan was born on August 31, 1942 to
7Genevieve and James R. Ryan; he married Sheila Morris on June
85, 1965; they relocated to Rockford in 1974; and
 
9    WHEREAS, William Ryan worked as a successful industrial
10sales representative until his retirement; and
 
11    WHEREAS, William Ryan was involved in numerous groups
12during his lifetime; he was an active member of the Holy Family
13Parish, past President of the Elks Club #64, past President of
14the Irish Marching Society, and a long-time member of the
15American Lombardi Society and the Verdi Club; and
 
16    WHEREAS, William Ryan was preceded in death by his parents;
17his brother, Bobby; his mother and father-in-law, Genevieve and
18Edward Morris; and his in-laws, Karl Ogren, Mary Connelly,
19Robert Morris, and Edward Morris; and
 
20    WHEREAS, William Ryan is survived by his wife, Sheila; his

1daughters, Jane (John) Barelli and Kathy Ryan; his son, Jim
2(Nancy) Ryan; his grandchildren, Kate, Ryan, Sean, and Anna
3Barelli, William Ryan, and Daniel, Genevieve, and Molly Ryan;
4his siblings, James (Rosalie) Ryan, Russell (Ginny) Ryan, and
5Julie Ogren; his in-laws, Patty Morris, Kathy (David) Malane,
6Claire (Michael) Sills, Rita (Jules) Cassel, and Erin Morris;
7and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
9NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
10we mourn the passing of William T. "Bill" Ryan, and extend our
11sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew
12and loved him; and be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of William Ryan as an expression of our
15deepest sympathy.
