| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Aeronautics Act is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 6 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (620 ILCS 5/6) (from Ch. 15 1/2, par. 22.6)

| 7 | | Sec. 6.
"Airport" means any area of land, water, or both, |
| 8 | | except a
restricted landing area, which is designed for the
the |
| 9 | | landing and take-off of
aircraft, whether or not facilities are |
| 10 | | provided for the shelter,
servicing, or repair of aircraft, or |
| 11 | | for receiving or discharging
passengers or cargo, and all |
| 12 | | appurtenant areas used or suitable for airport
buildings or |
| 13 | | other airport facilities, and all appurtenant rights of way,
|
| 14 | | whether heretofore or hereafter established. |
