SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Raymond O. Wallin of Gurnee, formerly of
4Waukegan, who passed away on June 22, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Raymond Wallin was born on March 2, 1921, in
6Comfrey, Minnesota; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Raymond Wallin served his country with pride as a
8member of the United States Navy during World War II; he was
9also a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Raymond Wallin served on the Waukegan Fire
11Department for 30 years; he retired at the rank of lieutenant;
12and
 
13    WHEREAS, Raymond Wallin was a member of Trinity United
14Lutheran Church; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Raymond Wallin was preceded in death by his wife,
16Jean, and his parents, Harris and Olga Wallin; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Raymond Wallin is survived by his children, Barb
18(Mark) Reckling, John Wallin, and Jody O'Rourke; his
19grandchildren, Meagan (Anish) Gauri, Jane (Sam) Hood, Aaron

5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
7his family and friends, the passing of Raymond O. Wallin; and
8be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Raymond Wallin as an expression of
11our sympathy.
