SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Beatrice Freese of Royal, who passed away
4on May 27, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Beatrice Freese was born on February 3, 1927, in
6Compromise Township; she was the daughter of Carl and Grace
7(Pannbacker) Park; she married John G. Freese on August 8,
81948, in Gifford; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Beatrice Freese farmed alongside her husband in
10the Flatville-Thomasboro area; she was well known by all who
11knew her as a loving mother, grandmother, and
12great-grandmother; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Beatrice Freese was a member of St. John Lutheran
14Church; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Beatrice Freese was an avid fan of the St. Louis
16Cardinals and Illini teams and loved attending her
17grandchildren's youth baseball games; she also enjoyed
18spending many happy hours playing cards with her friends; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Beatrice Freese was preceded in death by her
20husband; her grandson, Brian Frerichs; her 2 brothers; and her

13 sisters; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Beatrice Freese is survived by her daughters,
3Donna (Robert) Ramm and Diane (Stanley) Frerichs; her sister,
4Lorene Frerichs; her brother, John (Mildred) Park; and her 7
5grandchildren, Deon Ramm, Kenneth Ramm, Kyle Ramm, Kathy
6Waller, Darren Ramm, Bruce Frerichs, and Joey Frerichs; and her
79 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
10her family and friends, the passing of Beatrice Freese; and be
11it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Beatrice Freese as an expression of
14our sympathy.
