SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Henry Borella Bollini, who passed away on
4January 16, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Henry Bollini was born on February 11, 1917; his
6parents were William "Nick" Bollini and Katherine (Borella)
7Bollini; he married the former Margaret Caroline Burger on July
824, 1937, in Rockbridge; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Henry Bollini retired as a pattern maker for
10Standard Oil/Amoco in 1977, after 36 years of dedicated
11service; after retiring, he and his wife enjoyed their hobbies
12of camping and fishing and spent many happy years traveling the
13United States with the Chapter 10 "Road-Runners" Coachman
14Caravan Club and the "Has-Beens"; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Henry Bollini enjoyed playing music; he could be
16found most nights playing the drums for popular area bands,
17along with the likes of Oogie Devito, Harold Iken, and others;
18and
 
19    WHEREAS, Henry Bollini was preceded in death by his wife;
20and his son, Robert Louis Bollini; and

1    WHEREAS, Henry Bollini is survived by his children, William
2and Constance (O'Connor) Bollini, Donald and Judy (Donnellan)
3Bollini, and Terry and Patricia (Bollini) Seymour; his
4grandchildren, Steve and Paula (Wheaton) Bollini, Rodney
5Bollini, Jeff and Angie (Bollini) Nason, Richard and Linon
6(Bollini) Davis, Darin and Tara (Seymour) Trent, Corey and
7Missy (Adler) Seymour, and Jason and Amanda (Seymour) Harris;
8and his great-grandchildren, Justin and Shane Bollini, Halie
9and Brendan Bollini, Chelsea Morgan and Madison Nason, Ryan and
10Sean Davis, Brady Alexis and Dalton Trent, Tristan Hannah
11Logan, and Alia Seymour; therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
13ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
14his family and friends, the passing of Henry Borella Bollini;
15and be it further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Henry Bollini as an expression of
18our sympathy.
