SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Judith A. Klestinski of Springfield, who
4passed away on July 26, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Judith Klestinski was born on March 12, 1949, in
6Springfield; her parents were Wilford and Priscilla Sanders;
7she married David Klestinski on June 9, 1973, in Rantoul; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Judith Klestinski earned her bachelor's degree in
9special education from Southern Illinois University in
10Carbondale and her master's degree in special education from
11the University of Illinois in Urbana; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Judith Klestinski was employed as a special
13education teacher with Rantoul City Schools; she was selected
14to be the special education consultant for all K-8 schools in
15Rantoul in a pilot program in the early 1980s; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Judith Klestinski was preceded in death by her
17parents and her brother, Harry Lee Sanders; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Judith Klestinski is survived by her husband; her
19daughter, Sarah Jastrzebski; her son, Jonathan (Anitra)
20Klestinski; her two grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Barbara

1Sanders; and her many other relatives; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
4her family and friends, the passing of Judith A. Klestinski;
5and be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Judith Klestinski as an expression
8of our sympathy.
