| 4 | | "Section 5. The Counties Code is amended by adding Section |
| 5 | | 3-3013.5 as follows:

| 6 | | (55 ILCS 5/3-3013.5 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 3-3013.5. Health care records requested by the |
| 8 | | coroner. Any health care records requested by a coroner or |
| 9 | | physician performing an autopsy under Section 3-3014 shall be |
| 10 | | requested and paid for in accordance with Section 8-2001 of the |
| 11 | | Code of Civil Procedure.

| 12 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 13 | | becoming law.".
