| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Cigarette Tax Act is amended by changing |
| 5 | | Section 5 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 5. Printing tax stamps. The
The Department shall adopt |

designs of the tax stamps
or alternative tax |

and shall procure the printing of such stamps

in such amounts and denominations as it |
| 11 | | deems necessary to provide for the
affixation of the proper |

or alternative tax indicia
to each |

cigarettes. |
