AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3660

2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3660, AS AMENDED,
3 by inserting Article 35 in its proper numeric sequence as
4 follows:

"ARTICLE 35. FY11 COLAS

 
6     Section 35-5. The Compensation Review Act is amended by
7 changing Section 5.6 and by adding Section 5.7 as follows:
 
8     (25 ILCS 120/5.6)
9     Sec. 5.6. FY10 COLA's prohibited. Notwithstanding any
10 former or current provision of this Act, any other law, any
11 report of the Compensation Review Board, or any resolution of
12 the General Assembly to the contrary, members of the General
13 Assembly, State's attorneys, other than the county supplement,
14 the elected constitutional officers of State government, and
15 certain appointed officers of State government, including

1 members of State departments, agencies, boards, and
2 commissions whose annual compensation was recommended or
3 determined by the Compensation Review Board, are prohibited
4 from receiving and shall not receive any increase in
5 compensation that would otherwise apply based on a cost of
6 living adjustment, as authorized by Senate Joint Resolution 192
7 of the 86th General Assembly, for or during the fiscal year
8 beginning July 1, 2009. That cost of living adjustment shall
9 apply again in the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010 and
10 thereafter.

23 Review Board, are prohibited from receiving and shall not
24 receive any increase in compensation that would otherwise apply
25 based on a cost of living adjustment, as authorized by Senate

1 Joint Resolution 192 of the 86th General Assembly, for or
2 during the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010. That cost of
3 living adjustment shall apply again in the fiscal year
4 beginning July 1, 2011 and thereafter.".
