Appropriates $2,000,000 to the Department of Corrections from the General Revenue Fund to fund a pilot program to provide transportation, counseling, and activities to children of incarcerated parents and their caregivers. Effective July 1, 2010.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $2,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Corrections from the General Revenue Fund to fund a pilot program to provide transportation, counseling, and activities to children of incarcerated parents and their caregivers.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2010.
