| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Sections |
| 5 |
| 2-3.142, 10-20.40, and 34-18.34 as follows:
|

| Sec. 2-3.142. Virtual schools and classes prohibited. The |

| State Board of Education may not establish, maintain, or in any |

| way support any virtual schools or virtual classes for |

| Sec. 10-20.40. Virtual schools and classes prohibited. A |
