SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $250,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for a grant to the Illinois High School Association for development and implementation of a random steroid testing program for high school athletes.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

     Section 5. The amount of $250,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for a grant to the Illinois High School Association for development and implementation of a random steroid testing program for high school athletes.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2007.
