Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Commission for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2008, as follows:

General Revenue Fund                  $788,800

Other State Funds                     $100,000

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

ARTICLE 1

 

    Section 5.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Commission:

  For Personal Services............................ 454,300

  For State Contributions to State

   Employees' Retirement System..................... 80,900

  For State Contributions to

   Social Security.................................. 34,800

  For Contractual Services.......................... 94,900

  For Travel........................................ 26,000

  For Commodities................................... 12,700

  For Printing....................................... 8,000

  For Equipment..................................... 10,000

  For Telecommunications Services................... 22,500

  For Operation of Automotive Equipment.............. 7,900

  For Expenses relative to the operation

   of the Commission................................ 36,800

    Total                                          $788,800

 

    Section 10.  The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Interpreters for the Deaf Fund  to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Commission for administration and enforcement of the Interpreter for the Deaf Licensure Act of 2007.

 

Section 99.  Effective Date.  This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.
