AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5701

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5701 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

   “Section 5. In addition to any other amounts appropriated for this purpose, the sum of $6,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Rental Housing Support Program Fund to the Department of Revenue for rental assistance and long-term operating support by the Rental Housing Support Program, administered by the Illinois Housing Development Authority.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.”.
