AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The amount of $12,500,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Corrections from the General Revenue Fund for a grant to Operation Ceasefire to be used in the following locations:

The City of Chicago:

The neighborhood of East Garfield.................. 500,000

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
