SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with regret of the death of Howard Wayne Eubanks of
4 Sesser on Wednesday, July 27, 2005; and
 
5     WHEREAS, He was born to Bryan and Mattie (McBride) Eubanks
6 on January 30, 1919, in Sesser; he married the former Evelyn
7 Loman on February 22, 1938, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and
 
8     WHEREAS, Mr. Eubanks was a retired coal miner from Freeman
9 No. 6 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sesser;
10 after retirement, his greatest pleasures came from tending his
11 garden, cattle, and camping; and
 
12     WHEREAS, The passing of Howard Wayne Eubanks has been
13 deeply felt by many, especially his wife of 67 years, Evelyn;
14 his children, Marlene Stubblefield and her husband, Jack, Gale
15 Eubanks and wife, Carrie, Brenda Hartley and husband, Billy
16 Joe, and Debbie Malkovich and husband, Danny; his
17 grandchildren, Jackie Myers and husband, Brian, Chris
18 Stubblefield and wife, Tammy, Howard Gale Eubanks and wife,
19 Susan, Kenny Homer Eubanks and wife, Lana, Danell Morhet and
20 husband, Chris, Dana Wylie and husband, Greg, Monica Stewart
21 and husband, Donnie, and Tim Eubanks and wife, Kim; his
22 great-grandchildren, Taylor Myers, Morgan, Jackson, and Hudson
23 Wayne Stubblefield, Emma and Rosie Eubanks, Fonda Eubanks and
24 Brian Reagan, little Kenny Eubanks, Jordan and Katie Morhet,
25 Rachel and Kristen Wylie, Molly Stewart, and T.J. and Bayley
26 Eubanks; his great-great-grandchildren, Zane and Roe Reagan;
27 his step-great-grandchildren, Matt Malkovich, Brandy Marcus,
28 Robbie Rieckenberg, Jill Murry, Eric and Michelle Rieckenberg,
29 Ethan Marcus, and Krystal Rogers; his sisters, Eleanor
30 D'Haillcourt, Dorothy Pitchford, Mildred Tate, and Edith
31 Guthrie; his brothers, Bill Eubanks and Harry Eubanks; his
32 sister-in-law, Lucille Summers; and his many nieces and

1 nephews; he was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers,
2 Cecil and Leslie; and his lifelong friends, Cabe and Nettie
3 Sink; therefore, be it
 
4     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
5 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6 Howard Wayne Eubanks, and we extend our sincere condolences to
7 his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8 further
 
9     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10 presented to his family as an expression of our deepest
11 sympathy.
