SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 were saddened to learn of the death of Richard I. McClintock of
4 East Alton on March 17, 2004; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Richard McClintock was born on October 24, 1926 in
6 Wood River to John and Amelia (Wagner) McClintock; and
 
7     WHEREAS, He served in the United States Navy; on January
8 20, 1951, he married the former Alice P. Barnes; and
 
9     WHEREAS, Mr. McClintock was employed as a shift foreman at
10 Amoco for over 37 years and retired in 1986; and
 
11     WHEREAS, He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and
12 Moose Lodge, both in Wood River; he was also a member of the
13 Alton Eagles Lodge; in his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf
14 and woodcarving; and
 
15     WHEREAS, The passing of Richard I. McClintock will be
16 deeply felt by his wife, Alice; his three daughters and
17 sons-in-law, Pamela and Art Asadorian, Mary and John Hatcher,
18 and Donna and Steve Brown; his son and daughter-in-law, Richard
19 and Vicki McClintock; his eight grandchildren, Andrew
20 Asadorian, Jason, Miranda and Tara Hatcher, Dillon Brown, Megan
21 Malloy, and Molly and Colin McClintock; his two
22 great-grandchildren, Kayley and Logan Malloy; his sister,
23 Margaret Gaul; and his two brothers, Bill McClintock and Don
24 McClintock; therefore, be it
 
25     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
26 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
27 Richard I. McClintock along with all who knew and loved him and
28 extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends; and
29 be it further

1     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to the family of Richard I. McClintock as an
3 expression of our deepest sympathy.
