SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with regret of the death of Donald E. Kamadulski on
4 Monday, February 23, 2004; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Mr. Kamadulski was born in Granite City to Leo and
6 Fannie Kamadulski; he graduated from Granite City High School
7 in 1968 and attended Southern Illinois University at
8 Edwardsville; and
 
9     WHEREAS, Mr. Kamadulski worked as a truck driver by day and
10 as a dispatcher by night for the Chicago-Northwest Railroad
11 before starting Kamadulski Excavating and Grading Co. in
12 Pontoon Beach with his father; he co-owned and operated the
13 business, which specialized in commercial asphalt, concrete
14 excavating, demolition, and hauling, for almost 20 years in the
15 Madison and St. Clair County areas; and
 
16     WHEREAS, In the early 1990s, Mr. Kamadulski started
17 Edwards-Kamadulski Contracting in East St. Louis with Kevin
18 Edwards; and
 
19     WHEREAS, Mr. Kamadulski was a member of Holy Family
20 Catholic Church in Granite City and the International Union of
21 Operating Engineers Local 520; and
 
22     WHEREAS, Mr. Kamadulski will be remembered as the rock in
23 his family; he always made certain his children dreamed big and
24 reached for their goals; and
 
25     WHEREAS, The passing of Donald E. Kamadulski has been
26 deeply felt by many, especially his children, Dawn O'Leary,
27 Donald E. Kamadulski, and Andrew J. Kamadulski; the mother of
28 his children, Toni Kamadulski; his father, Leo F. Kamadulski;
29 his brothers, David Kamadulski and Lynn Kamadulski; and his

1 sisters, Mary Ann Kamadulski, Patricia Kamadulski, and Linda
2 Kamadulski; therefore, be it
 
3     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
4 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5 Donald E. Kamadulski, and we extend our deepest sympathy to his
6 family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7 further
 
8     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9 presented to the family of Donald E. Kamadulski as an
10 expression of our sincere condolences.
