SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with regret of the death of Patricia Ann Hartman of
4 Carrollton on Saturday, February 21, 2004; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Mrs. Hartman was born July 10, 1927, in Bluffs to
6 Fred and Winifred Williams Tuscher; she married Charles A.
7 Hartman on August 4, 1949, at Our Saviors Church in
8 Jacksonville; and
 
9     WHEREAS, Mrs. Hartman attended St. John's Hospital Nurses
10 Training and the nursing school at Our Saviors Hospital in
11 Jacksonville; she worked for Dr. Paul Dailey in Carrollton for
12 nine years and was a nurse at Boyd Memorial Hospital for many
13 years; she later was the Head Start nurse for a nine county
14 area for more than 20 years, retiring in 1994; and
 
15     WHEREAS, Mrs. Hartman was a member of the St. John's
16 Catholic Church in Carrollton, where she was a member of the
17 Catholic Daughters of America; she loved her grandchildren and
18 enjoyed sewing and mushroom hunting in the spring; and
 
19     WHEREAS, The passing of Mrs. Hartman has been deeply felt
20 by many, especially her husband, Charles; her son and his wife,
21 William J. and Hope Hartman; her grandchildren, Dennis Mark and
22 Sarah Elizabeth Hartman; her three sisters and a
23 brother-in-law, Betty Brammeier, Barbara Winslow, and Roberta
24 "Posie" and Albert Roth; and her many nieces and nephews;
25 therefore, be it
 
26     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
27 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
28 Patricia Ann Hartman, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her
29 friends, family, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
30 further

3 our sincere condolences.
