AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2248

2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2248, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
4 1, on page 27, after line 30, by inserting the following:
 
5     "Section 125.    Upon payment of the sum of $1 and subject
6 to the conditions set forth in Section 900 of this Act, the
7 Secretary of Transportation, on behalf of the State of
8 Illinois, is authorized to convey by quitclaim deed to the City
9 of Chicago all right, title, and interest in and to the
10 following described real property:
11     That part of Lots 5 though 11 inclusive in Block 30 of
12     Albert Crosby and Others Subdivision, being a subdivision
13     in the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 25,
14     Township 40 North, Range 13 East of the Third Principal
15     Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded Aug. 18,
16     1873 as Document 116140, in Cook County, Illinois,
17     described as follows:
18     Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot 11 aforesaid;
19     thence on an assumed bearing of North 00 degrees 01 minutes
20     04 seconds West along the West line of said Lot 11, a
21     distance of 3.00 feet to the point of beginning; thence
22     continuing North 00 degrees 01 minutes 04 seconds West
23     116.78 feet; thence North 84 degrees 51 minutes 34 seconds
24     East 6.13 feet; thence South 51 degrees 19 minutes 03
25     seconds East 195.85 feet to the south line of Lots 5

16     Crosby and Others Subdivision, being a subdivision in the

7     Section 130.    The conveyance of real property authorized
8 by Section 125 shall be made subject to (1) existing public
9 utilities and any and all reservations, easements, covenants,
10 and restrictions of record and (2) the express condition that
11 if said real property ceases to be used for public outdoor
12 recreational purposes, it shall revert to the State of Illinois
13 without further action on the part of the State.".
