SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

 Appropriates $600,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for a grant to the Save A Life Foundation (SALF) for costs associated with the statewide implementation and expansion of SALF’s program for training children in life-supporting first aid skills.  Effective July 1, 2004.

    AN ACT making appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The sum of $600,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for a grant to the Save A Life Foundation (SALF) for costs associated with the statewide implementation and expansion of SALF’s program for training children in life-supporting first aid skills.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2004.
