2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 188 on page 1, by
3replacing lines 18 through 23 with the following:
4    "A parent who consents to the performance upon the
5parent's child of a health care service under this Section
6shall be entitled, upon request, to inspect and copy the part
7of that child's records related to the specific health care
8service for which the parent is treated as the child's
9personal representative under HIPAA, 45 CFR 164.502(g). For
10purposes of this Section, each appointment, referral, test,
11treatment, procedure, or other medical intervention is a
12separate and distinct health care service for the purpose of
13determining whether a parent is treated as the child's
14personal representative under HIPAA, 45 CFR 164.502(g), with
15respect to that health care service.".
