AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3140 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3140 on page 1, 
3lines 7 and 8, by deleting "prisons, jails, and other"; and
 

4on page 1, lines 15 and 16, by deleting "the Department of 
5Corrections or"; and
 
6on page 2, by replacing lines 21 through 24 with the following:
7    ""Covered juvenile" means any person under 21 years of age

8incarcerated in a Department of Juvenile Justice facility or 
9any person under 18 years of age incarcerated in a county or 
10municipal facility."; and
 
11on page 3, line 6, by replacing "the facility" with "a facility 
12of the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice"; and
 
13on page 3, lines 7 and 8, by replacing "juvenile or 
14correctional" with "youth"; and
