| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The General Assembly Organization Act is |
| 5 | | amended by changing Section 3 as follows:
|

The
The Secretary of the Senate and Clerk of the |
| 8 | | House of
Representatives, at the close of each session of the |
| 9 | | General Assembly,
shall deliver to the Secretary of State all |
| 10 | | books, bills, documents and
papers in the possession of either |
| 11 | | branch of the General Assembly,
correctly labeled, folded and |
| 12 | | classified, according to the subject matter
of such documents |
| 13 | | respectively; and the Secretary of State shall preserve
the |
| 14 | | same in his office. |
