SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates the sum of $10,000,000 from the Asylum Travel Expenses Fund to the Department of Human Services for the Asylum Travel Expense Program. Effective July 1, 2024.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $10,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Asylum Travel Expenses Fund to the Department of Human Services for all costs associated with the Asylum Travel Expense Program.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2024.
