SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of James "Bill" Youngblood of East
4Moline, who passed away on December 15, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bill Youngblood was born to Pengry and Verney
6(Woods) Youngblood in Hiawassee, Georgia on January 9, 1928;
7he served in the U.S. Army; he married Eunice Mae Queen in
8Hiawassee, Georgia in 1949; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Bill Youngblood was previously employed as an
10assembler for American Air Filter, retiring in 1985 after 34
11years; he then worked for Avis Car Rental after his
12retirement; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Bill Youngblood was preceded in death by his
14wife; his son-in-law, Jerry Fosbinder; his parents; his
15brothers, Hubert Youngblood, Owen Youngblood, and Lawton
16Youngblood; and his sister, Ruth Stamey; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Bill Youngblood is survived by his children,
18Linda Fosbinder, Brenda Johnson, and Michael (Teresa)
19Youngblood; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Brian (Rachel), Chelsie
20(Ben), Chase, Dane (Jasmyn), and Addison (Roxanne); his
21great-grandchildren, Aleah, Isabella, Jay, Carter, Bennett,

1Kennedy, Alyssa, and James; his brothers, Ray Youngblood and
2Gene Youngblood; and his sisters, DellaMae Dearing and Barbara
3Hyatt; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6James "Bill" Youngblood and extend our sincere condolences to
7his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Bill Youngblood as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
