SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Jennifer Susanne Everett of
4Washington, who passed away on November 13, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jennifer Everett was born in Peoria to Mike and
6Ginny Everett on May 10, 1979; she graduated from Bradley
7University in Peoria with a Bachelor of Arts in English
8Language and Literature; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Jennifer Everett committed her life to serving
10children and adults, some with additional needs, alongside the
11global non-profit, One Collective; she spent nearly three
12years in Uzhhorod, Ukraine and was most recently serving in
13Cowley, England; her mission was to see a world where no one is
14invisible and where everyone has access to food, freedom, and
15forgiveness; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Jennifer Everett was a member of Crossroads
17United Methodist Church in Washington; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Jennifer Everett was deeply committed to her
19faith; she loved immensely and cared for others in the most
20profound way; she positively impacted many lives; she will be
21deeply missed by her family, friends, and colleagues and

1remembered for her servant heart, her smile, and her
2incredible passion; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Jennifer Everett was preceded in death by an
4infant son, Benjamin Michael; her paternal grandfather, Marvin
5Everett; and her maternal grandparents, Richard and Vivian
6Doversberger; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Jennifer Everett is survived by her parents; her
8sister, Lacey Everett; her brother-in-law, Matthew Everett;
9her niece, Ellie Everett; her paternal grandmother, Phyllis
10Everett; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
13Jennifer Susanne Everett and extend our sincere condolences to
14her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
15further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Jennifer Everett as an expression
18of our deepest sympathy.
