SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Robert W. "Bob" Foster Sr. of Milan,
4who passed away on September 12, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Foster was born to Francis and Ruth (Harper)
6Foster in Moline on November 16, 1939; he served in the U.S.
7Navy; he married JoAnn Nyquist in Milan on August 18, 1962; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Bob Foster retired as a construction worker for
9Teamsters Local #371, working primarily for General Asphalt;
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Bob Foster enjoyed working on his cars and doing
12handy work around the house; he also enjoyed watching NASCAR
13and was an avid fan of Jeff Gordon; he loved vacationing in
14Florida; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Bob Foster was preceded in death by his parents;
16his sisters, Beverly, Marilyn, and Norma "Kay"; his brothers,
17Kenneth, John, and Gary; and his infant brother, Ronald; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Bob Foster is survived by his wife; his children,
19Robert Foster Jr., Jody (Gary) Elliott, and Dawn (Scott)
20Keith; his granddaughters, Jamie (Logan) Frost and McKenna

1(Donnie Graham) Keith; his twin great-granddaughters on the
2way; his sisters, Arlene "Toots" and Kathy; his brothers,
3Raymond "Butch", Dennis, Mike, and Steve; his loving dog,
4Jasper; and his numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends;
5therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Robert W. "Bob" Foster Sr. and extend our sincere condolences
9to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
10it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Bob Foster as an expression of our
13deepest sympathy.
