SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Richard P. Lesage Sr. of Moline, who
4passed away on September 5, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Richard Lesage was born to Paul and Margaret
6(Tanghe) Lesage in Moline on March 26, 1938; he married
7Barbara R. Magruder on February 4, 1961, and she preceded him
8in death on September 2, 2004; he served in the U.S. Navy; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Richard Lesage worked as a fireman for the City
10of Moline and retired as a captain; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Richard Lesage enjoyed camping and fishing and
12loved spending time with his family; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Richard Lesage was also preceded in death by his
14sister, Pat; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Richard Lesage is survived by his sons, Scott
16(Tiffany) Lesage, Rick (Linda) Lesage Jr., Ed Lesage, and
17William (Julia) Lesage; his eight grandchildren; his 11
18great-grandchildren; his sisters, Irene (Loren) Zietler, Betty
19(Jerry) Hazen, Melanie (John) Diedrich, and Judy (Ed) Burke;
20and his brother, Mike Lesage; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Richard P. Lesage Sr. and extend our sincere condolences to
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Richard Lesage as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
