SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Kenneth R. "Wasy" Wasylenko of
4Gillespie, who passed away on February 17, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Kenneth Wasylenko was born to Nicholas Wasylenko
6and Linda Hendrix Wasylenko in St. Louis, Missouri on July 27,
71963; he served in the National Guard; he married Christie
8Lynnette Wahl in Carlinville on May 20, 1994; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Kenneth Wasylenko was a laborer and pipe cutter
10for Titan Pipe and Tube of Staunton; he was a member of LIUNA
11Local 42; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Kenneth Wasylenko was an Indianapolis Colts fan;
13he also enjoyed music, the outdoors, and making people laugh;
14and
 
15    WHEREAS, Kenneth Wasylenko was preceded in death by his
16parents; and
 
17    WHEREAS, At the time of his passing, Kenneth Wasylenko was
18survived by his spouse, Christie Wasylenko; his daughters,
19Samantha (companion, Tyler Bertagnolli) Wasylenko and Taylor
20(Dylan) Fuda; his siblings, Edward (Christine) Wasylenko,

1Brian (Ann) Wasylenko, and Christopher Wasylenko; his
2father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronald and Linda Wahl; his
3sister-in-law, Tracy (Dustin) Favre; his brother-in-law, Erin
4(Steth) Wahl; his sister-in-law, Brianne (Matt) Nolan; and his
5many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Kenneth R. "Wasy" Wasylenko and extend our sincere condolences
9to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
10it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Kenneth Wasylenko as an expression
13of our deepest sympathy.
