SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Anthony Joseph "Joe" Drefchinski of
4East Moline, who passed away on May 23, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Joe Drefchinski was born to Anthony and Barbara
6(Borgert) Drefchinski in Moline on August 1, 1932; he served
7in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict; he married
8Patricia Ann Hogan in Solon, Iowa on June 30, 1952; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Joe Drefchinski retired from the Alcoa
10Corporation after 37 years of service; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Joe Drefchinski was a loving husband, father,
12grandfather, and great-grandfather; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Joe Drefchinski was preceded in death by his
14parents; his daughter, Judy; and his siblings, Mike
15Drefchinski, Rita Drefchinski, and Dorothy Stueland; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Joe Drefchinski is survived by his wife,
17Patricia; his children, Joe (Jan) Drefchinski Jr., Patty
18Zimmer, Jacque Stewart, and Jody (Dean) Lovell; his
19grandchildren, Jeff (Tammy) Ball, Stacey Schlaht, Megan
20Drefchinski, and Brad Lovell; his six great-grandchildren; and

1his sister, Alice Drefchinski; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Anthony Joseph "Joe" Drefchinski and extend our sincere
5condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
6him; and be it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Joe Drefchinski as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
