SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Victor Wayman Hale of Rock Island, who
4passed away on May 11, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Victor Hale was born to Cluster and Janetta
6(Robinson) Hale in Hannibal, Missouri on December 16, 1936;
7and
 
8    WHEREAS, Victor Hale retired from the Rock Island Post
9Office; he always had several side businesses, including
10carpet sales, the grocery business, and real estate; he was a
11jack of all trades as well as a businessman; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Victor Hale was preceded in death by his parents
13and his brother, Charles Harding; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Victor Hale is survived by his beloved daughter,
15Victoria Bell; his three grandchildren, Xavier D. Clark, Javin
16N. Whiteside, and Javon D. Whiteside Jr.; his great-grandson,
17Ashton J. Whiteside; his siblings, Mary "Penny" Kyle, Chester
18Hale, Sharon Hale, and Gloria Vonentzminger; his daughter's
19mother and his close friend, Lillie M. Bell; his devoted
20friend, Charles Muscovalley; and his many nieces and nephews;
21therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Victor Wayman Hale and extend our sincere condolences to his
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family Victor Hale as an expression of our
8deepest sympathy.
