SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Glenna Mae Donohoo, who passed away on
4December 12, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Glenna Donohoo was born in Montezuma Township,
6Pike County to Paul and Helen (Cox) Bissell on November 5,
71936; she married Richard R. Donohoo in Pocahontas, Arkansas
8on May 10, 1952; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Glenna Donohoo loved cooking and baking for her
10beloved family, camping with family and friends, and watching
11St. Louis Cardinal baseball; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Glenna Donohoo was a faithful member of the
13Vaughn Hill Church of Christ for over 45 years; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Glenna Donohoo was preceded in death by her
15husband, Richard; her son, Donald Donohoo; her daughter,
16Cheryl Donohoo; her parents; and her siblings, Paul Bissell
17Jr., Erma Rucker, Zelma Bess, and Donna Stanley; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Glenna Donohoo is survived by her son and
19daughter-in-law, Daniel and Brenda Donohoo; her grandchildren,
20Chris (Angela) Donohoo, Jason Donohoo, Tim (Amy) Donohoo,

1Jennifer (John) Huddleston, and Taylor Donohoo (Austin Drew);
2her great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Julian, Elias, Lyndon,
3Jaryn, Zoie, and Hudson; her daughter-in-law, Lynda Vandiver;
4her dear nieces, Brenda Cbetto and Eva James; and several
5other nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Glenna Mae Donohoo and extend our sincere condolences to her
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Glenna Donohoo as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
