SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of John D. DeClerck of Broadview,
4formerly of Moline, who passed away on April 27, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John DeClerck was born to Larry and Raye Ann
6(Hasty) DeClerck in Silvis on November 16, 1970; he graduated
7from Moline High School; he served as a medic in the U.S. Army
8during Desert Storm; and
 
9    WHEREAS, John DeClerck was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and
10the Chicago Cubs; he also enjoyed coaching his boys in
11baseball and spending time with them and his grandchildren;
12and
 
13    WHEREAS, John DeClerck was preceded in death by his
14grandparents, Len and Martha Hasty and Frank DeClerck; and
 
15    WHEREAS, John DeClerck is survived by his grandmother, Pat
16DeClerck; his parents; his children, Shane (MaryJo), Nick,
17Troy, and Seth; his stepson, Roenic; his grandchildren,
18Justin, Aaron, Matthew, Landon, Reed, and Miles; his brother,
19Erik DeClerck; his sister, Amanda (Troy) Franklin and their
20children; and his special friend, Michelle Jarvis; therefore,
21be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3John D. DeClerck and extend our sincere condolences to his
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of John DeClerck as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
