SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Daniel "Dan" K. Majeski of Erie, who
4passed away on March 5, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Dan Majeski was born to Larry and A. Joan (Davis)
6Majeski in Morrison on August 15, 1955; he graduated from Erie
7High School in 1973 and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Dan Majeski became an owner/operator truck
9driver; he eventually went to work for Standard Forwarding,
10where he accumulated 26 years of service; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Dan Majeski enjoyed going to Las Vegas with his
12wife; he was a fisherman and especially liked fishing in
13Northern Minnesota; he was an avid NASCAR fan; he also enjoyed
14scuba diving and had his Open Water Diver Certification; he
15loved visiting with his family and friends and held a special
16place in his heart for the many dogs he had through the years;
17and
 
18    WHEREAS, Dan Majeski was preceded in death by his parents;
19his stepfathers, Jim Floyd and Kennard Hoerler; his
20father-in-law, Greek Null; and his sister in infancy; and

1    WHEREAS, Dan Majeski is survived by his wife, Susan; his
2three children, Audrey Majeski (Ronnie Baker), Logan (Emily)
3Majeski, and Victoria (Ryan) Blasdell; his bonus mom, Pat
4Majeski; his brothers, Tim (Bernadette) Hoerler, Darin
5(Evelyn) Hoerler, Troy Majeski, Darren (Dawn) Majeski, and
6Greg (Barb) Majeski; his sister, Lori (Tim) Smith; his
7grandchildren, Alivia, Gavin, and Jaxson Baker, Lindy Majeski,
8and Emersyn and Emilia Blasdell; his aunts and uncles; and his
9nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12Daniel "Dan" Majeski and extend our sincere condolences to his
13family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
14further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Dan Majeski as an expression of our
17deepest sympathy.
