SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Tina Dancey of Orchard Mines, who
4passed away on December 25, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Tina Dancey was born in Pekin to Dominic and
6Florabell (Martin) Rebuffoni on January 6, 1949; she married
7Burt Dancey on December 27, 1969; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Tina Dancey enjoyed flower gardening and
9vegetable gardening; her home was a place of beauty and
10wonder; she was involved with her children's school and
11activities, her women friends card club, her all men except
12her poker group, tennis teams, and bowling teams; she enjoyed
13board games and working in stained glass; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Tina Dancey was a shining and beautiful soul and
15a friend and helper to all; she perfected the art of living and
16loving; she embraced all who entered her life as family; she
17will be especially remembered for her boundless energy and for
18the endless love and affection she offered to family and
19friends; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Tina Dancey was preceded in death by her father,
21Dominic; and

1    WHEREAS, Tina Dancey is survived by her husband, Burt; her
2children, Zed (Kyong), Sarah, Silas (Kristen), and Bekah; her
3grandchildren, Ella, Maya, Kearstin, Dominic, Theodore, and
4Wyatt; her mother, Florabell; her sisters, Joann (Kim) Michael
5and Kay (Ken) Schinkel; and numerous nieces and nephews,
6cousins, aunts and uncles, and countless friends; therefore,
7be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Tina Dancey and extend our sincere condolences to her family,
11friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Tina Dancey as an expression of our
14deepest sympathy.
