SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Jack E. Fitzpatrick of Rock Island,
4who passed away on November 6, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick was born to Frank N. and Martha
6M. (Lannoo) Fitzpatrick in Moline on January 17, 1932; he
7proudly served in the U.S. Air Force; he married Janet R.
8Hodson in Rock Island on January 5, 1958; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick worked in sales in a variety of
10roles and retired from Bonnett Wholesale Florist in 1994; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick was a longtime member of Good
12Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Rock Island where he served in
13various positions; he was also a member of former Rock Island
14American Legion Post #200; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and
16enjoyed woodworking; above all, he loved spending time with
17his family; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick was preceded in death by his
19parents; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Elaine (Bob) Bonnett
20and Marilyn (Ben) Hodson; and his great-granddaughter, Emma

1Fitzpatrick; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Jack Fitzpatrick is survived by his wife; his
3son, Todd (Kerrie) Fitzpatrick; his daughter, Tami (Jeff)
4Claus; his grandchildren, Frank (Tabitha) Fitzpatrick, Emma
5(Michael) Kaschke, and Claire (Kevin) Wood; his
6great-grandchildren, Jayda Fitzpatrick, Olyvia Fitzpatrick,
7and Stephen Anthony Kaschke; and his many other family
8members; therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
11Jack E. Fitzpatrick and extend our sincere condolences to his
12family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
13further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Jack Fitzpatrick as an expression
16of our deepest sympathy.
