SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Franklin "Frank" Dall of Aviston, who
4passed away on November 9, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Frank Dall was born on the family farm in Aviston
6to Edward and Clara (Korte) Dall on July 13, 1940; he married
7Joann Voss at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese on June 9,
81960; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Frank Dall was a retired dairy farmer; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Frank Dall collected and restored vintage John
11Deere tractors and enjoyed going on tractor drives; he was a
12member of St. Francis Church, where he was a former trustee; he
13was a former member of the Aviston Elementary School Board and
14a member of Prairie Farms Dairy; he enjoyed hunting and
15attending auctions, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time
16with his family; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Frank Dall was preceded in death by his parents;
18his daughter, Carla Knackstedt; his granddaughters, Hannah and
19Nicole Knackstedt; his brother, Jerry Dall; his sister, Betty
20(Don) Scott; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, August
21and Rose Voss; and

1    WHEREAS, Frank Dall is survived by his wife of 61 years,
2Joann; his children, Kevin (Melinda) Dall, Mark (Jan) Dall,
3Gary (Erin) Dall, Coleen (Craig) Klein, and Jolyn (Matt)
4Johnson; his son-in-law, Kent Knackstedt; his grandchildren,
5Annie Dall (Dante Yokley), William Dall, Hillary (Chris)
6Frost, Clinton Dall, Morgan (Lee) Davis, Lydia Dall, Justin
7Knackstedt (Amara Hartnagel), Tori, Taylor, and Emma Dall,
8Jacob (Merissa) Kriegel, Chad (Taylor) Klein, Chase Klein
9(Morgan McAteer), Tyler, Payton, and Shelby Tarr, and Justin
10Clark; his great-grandchildren, Austen, Sadie, and Blake
11Frost, Jace Knackstedt, Amelia Kriegel, Greyson and Maddox
12Klein, and Tessa Davis; his brother, Jim (Karen) Dall; his
13sisters-in-law, Mary Ann (Tony) Diaz, Pat Maier, and Ruthie
14(Maurice) Eversgerd; his brother-in-law, John Voss; and his
15faithful pup, Buddy; therefore, be it
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
18Franklin "Frank" Dall and extend our sincere condolences to
19his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
20further
 
21    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22presented to the family of Frank Dall as an expression of our
23deepest sympathy.
