SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Jenna L. Rudd, who passed away on
4October 23, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jenna Rudd was born to Sherri Dixon–Rudd and
6Charles Lee Rudd in Alton on September 12, 2000; she ran track
7and field for and graduated from Roxana High School in 2019;
8she attended Greenville University on an athletic scholarship
9prior to transferring back to Lewis and Clark Community
10College; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Jenna Rudd was employed at the Edwardsville Care
12Center in the Activities Department; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Jenna Rudd enjoyed art, drawing, sports, and
14spending time with her friends; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Jenna Rudd was preceded in death by father and
16her brother, Charles "Chuckie" Rudd; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Jenna Rudd is survived by her mother; her
18siblings, Joshua Rudd, Bryan (Torzetta) Rudd, Brett Rudd,
19Terry Rudd, and Toni Rudd; her grandmother, Barbara Dixon; her
20aunts and uncles; her nieces and nephews; her cousins, and her

1many friends; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Jenna L. Rudd and extend our sincere condolences to her
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Jenna Rudd as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
