SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Gary Richard Weber of Peoria, who
4passed away on September 25, 2021, after spending the day
5doing one of the things he most loved, watching his SIU Salukis
6win on a beautiful fall day; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Gary Weber had a master's degree in Spanish from
8the University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Divinity from
9Eden Seminary; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Gary Weber was a retired minister and high school
11teacher; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Gary Weber was most proud of his more than thirty
13years officiating local football games, his students and
14parishioners, his many beloved dogs, and, most especially, his
15family; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Gary Weber is survived by wife, Liz; his
17children, Katherine and Scott Weber; and his four
18grandchildren, Isabella, Zaryn Alice, Mason, and Haley;
19therefore, be it
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2Gary Richard Weber and extend our sincere condolences to his
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
4further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Gary Weber as an expression of our
7deepest sympathy.
