SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Adolf "Chris" Schnepple of Silvis, who
4passed away on May 21, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Chris Schnepple was born to Adolf G. and Barbara
6(Stotz) Schnepple in Moline on May 24, 1932; he was a U.S.
7veteran who served in Korea; he married Nancy J. Johnson in
8Moline on October 5, 1957, and she preceded him in death in
91981; he married Linda Rosenstiel in Silvis on April 25, 1998,
10and she preceded him in death in 2011; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Chris Schnepple worked as a plumber for 45 years
12with Allison and Albrecht and later with Rock Island Plumbing;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Chris Schnepple was a member of Local 25 of the
15Plumbers and Pipefitters union and the Silvis Eagles and a
16lifetime member of the Moline VFW; he was also a member of St.
17Mark's Anglican Church in Silvis; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Chris Schnepple was preceded in death by his
19parents; his first wife; and his second wife; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Chris Schnepple is survived by his children,

1James (Becky) Schnepple, Barb Schnepple, Linda (Mark) Belman,
2and Sue Zimmer; his eight grandchildren; his five
3great-grandchildren; his stepson, Robbie Gresham; his two
4step-grandchildren, Jacob and Jenna; and his sister, Anna
5Donahue; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Adolf "Chris" Schnepple and extend our sincere condolences to
9his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Chris Schnepple as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
