SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Larry Wade Reams of Bethalto, who
4passed away on November 9, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Larry Reams worked as a machinist for many years;
6he spent the last 15 years working as a laborer out of Local
7338 in Wood River; he loved the brotherhood and sense of pride
8he found working for the Labor Hall; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Larry Reams loved every minute he spent with his
10family and friends, especially the times spent singing
11karaoke; he had an amazing voice and a wonderful sense of
12humor; he will be remembered especially for his smile, which
13was always present; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Larry Reams is survived by his parents, Larry
15Woodrow Reams and Delilah Mae (Connor) Reams; his daughter,
16Jessica (Alex) L. Slow; his grandchildren, Nicholas "Nickman"
17Slow and Jaelyn "Jae Bird" Slow; his two brothers, Terry
18(Rochelle) D. Reams and Ricky (Leslie) W. Reams; his sister,
19Cheryl (Jim) L. Fischer; his fiancé, Julie Swarringin; his
20fiancé's daughter, Carley; and his nieces and nephews;
21therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Larry Wade Reams and extend our sincere condolences to his
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Larry Reams as an expression of our
8deepest sympathy.
