SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Ronald G. "Ron" VanDePutte of Moline,
4who passed away on February 6, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ron VanDePutte was born in Moline to O'Dille M.
6and Ruth M. (Inglish) VanDePutte on January 20, 1937; he
7married Dorothy Smiddy in Moline on December 28, 1962 and
8served in the United States Navy; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Ron VanDePutte was a photographer for the
10DeSaulniers Printing Company; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Ron VanDePutte enjoyed hunting, farming, and
12being outdoors; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Ron VanDePutte was preceded in death by his
14sister, Nancy Hazlewood, and his brother, Jim VanDePutte; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Ron VanDePutte is survived by wife, Dorothy; his
16children, Pam Arp, Steven (Tammy) VanDePutte, and Mike (Kris)
17VanDePutte; his grandchildren, Kassidy Arp, Marc (Brittany)
18Stohl, Sean (Jaclyn Morre) VanDePutte, Tyler (Mandee Wheeler)
19VanDePutte, Ryan Sable, and Michael (Cassandra) Sable; his
20great-grandchildren, Hudson, Marissa, Aiden, Rylee, Lola,

1Actley, Hyson, Will, Grayson, and Roman; his brother, George
2VanDePutte; and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale and Cleo
3Smiddy, Dean and Sharon Smiddy, and Dennis and Barb Smiddy;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Ronald G. "Ron" VanDePutte and extend our sincere condolences
8to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
9it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Ron VanDePutte as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
