SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Jack M. Millen of Rock Island, who
4passed away on January 4, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jack Millen was born to Arlo and Virginia Millen
6in Moline on February 21, 1935; he served in the United States
7Army; he married Sharron L. Frazell in Peoria on January 21,
81961; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Jack Millen was a member of and served as an elder
10and as financial secretary at Immanuel Lutheran Church; he
11served as grounds maintenance for the Immanuel Lutheran Church
12Cemetery; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Jack Millen was a Chicago Cubs fan and loved
14bowling and golf; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Jack Millen was preceded in death by his parents;
16his sister, Vanetta Nelson; and his brother, Erwin Millen; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Jack Millen is survived by his wife; his
18children, Karen (John) Cain, Kevin Millen, and Stacy (Tom)
19Biscontine; his grandchildren, Nicole (Paul) Krauss, Brian
20(Meredith) Cain, and Sydney Biscontine; and his siblings,

2therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Jack M. Millen and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Jack Millen as an expression of our
10deepest sympathy.
