SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Ronald J. "Ron" Tady of East Moline,
4who passed away on December 16, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ron Tady was born in Rock Island to Charles and
6Lorene (Parr) Tady on September 23, 1943; he served in the U.S.
7Navy on the U.S.S. Stormes off the coast of South Vietnam
8during the Vietnam War; he married Marcia Gavin in Aurora,
9Colorado on June 21, 1968; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Ron Tady worked at the John Deere
11Seeding/Cylinder Division in Moline for 38 years until his
12retirement in 2007; he was a member of UAW 434 J.D. Cylinder
13Division; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Ron Tady was known for liking everyone and always
15being willing to lend a hand to someone in need; he will be
16remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Ron Tady was preceded in death by his parents;
18his siblings, Diane Petersen and Tom Tady; and his
19sister-in-law, Norma Tady; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Ron Tady is survived by his wife of 52 years,

1Marcia Tady; his sons, Troy Tady and Lee Tady; his
2granddaughter, Riley Tady; his siblings, Charles Tady, Stephen
3(Anita) Tady, Tim (Angie) Tady, and John (Kelly) Tady; his
4sister-in-law, Nancy Tady; and his brother-in-law, Dave
5Petersen; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Ronald J. "Ron" Tady and extend our sincere condolences to his
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Ron Tady as an expression of our
13deepest sympathy.
