SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Richard "Bob" Manasco of Hillsdale,
4who passed away on January 16, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Manasco was born to Frank and Lema (Webster)
6Manasco in Winfield, Alabama on February 12, 1938; he married
7Jan Davis in Rock Island on May 30, 1959; he served in the U.S.
8Army from 1961 to 1963; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Bob Manasco worked at the John Deere Foundry for
1042 years as a supervisor, retiring in January of 1993; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Bob Manasco loved spending time with his
12grandchildren, which included traveling, gardening, camping,
13fishing, and hunting; he also enjoyed going to Florida for the
14winters; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Bob Manasco was preceded in death by his parents;
16his son-in-law, Wes; three brothers; and three sisters; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Bob Manasco is survived by his wife, Jan; his
18daughter, Cheri Church; his son, Bob (Nicole) Manasco; his
19five grandchildren, Amanda Almanza, David Johnson, Cody
20Church, Anna McVay, and Alex McVay; his eight

1great-grandchildren; and his brother; Don Manasco; therefore,

3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Richard "Bob" Manasco and extend our sincere condolences to
6his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Bob Manasco as an expression of our
10deepest sympathy.
